Home, to me, is akin to a tree. Like a tree that begins from a humble seed and remains anchored in one place throughout its lifetime—unless deliberately relocated—it witnesses the flux of life around it. A tree sees children grow, seasons change, and the environment evolve, yet it stands steadfast, rooted in its spot, day in and day out. This constancy and enduring presence embody what I consider home: a place of unwavering support and comfort. No matter the hardships or the challenges of the day, home, like a tree, is where you find solace and unconditional acceptance waiting. This connection inspired me to capture the essence of a tree through monoprint, symbolizing the perennial sanctuary provided by both a tree and a home. Each print serves as a reminder of the steadfast, nurturing qualities that make a place a home, inviting the viewer to reflect on their own foundational spaces of comfort and security.
